The current state of 1017 - Post Weds Patch Edition + GTFollow

Good morning everyone,

As some of you know, I am in the land of Great Brittainia and couldn't help but notice that immediately after the patch went live, some people were saying that they were still receiving 1017s and that the game was doomed foreverty ever to be inaccessible. When I got home last night, I logged in without issue, but that would have been mid-day for my fellow "Colonists" without any trouble. Having played til about 5pm EST, I decided to just log out and log back in.. To my surprise, there was no issue in doing so.

Getting to the point. I was wondering if people are still continuing to experience issues accessing the game at this point. Typically, after a maintenance or a patch, there are at least schfifty five threads about not being able to get on during North American peak hours, yet I'm not really seeing that this time around. However, in the interest of fairness, rather than making a Victory Fanfare thread (of which, there have also been quite a number of after a patch, much to the dismay of people playing the log-in game for hours upon end seemingly) I was wanting to "check the pulse" as it were.

For the sake of accuracy, I am on Diabolos. Things seemed okay yesterday. If you are continuing to get errors logging in, please post your server and what times you encountered login issues. Perhaps, we can help each other out in identifying what servers seemed to be more jammed up than others. If not for our own sakes, then certainly for the sake of people looking to bring friends into the game and/or relocate their Linkshells/Free companies to the new servers. Hopefully, we can keep this thread up through the weekend in order to paint an accurate picture and/or turn it into a Victory Fanfare thread if the mighty 1017 has, in fact, met its end.

1017 is not dead - but dying.

I think they were testing the thresholds of the new Duty Finder arrangement yesterday and so there were a number of 90000 and 3102 errors. But if they pull back the login restrictions a bit (and cause a few more 1017) I think those will go away.

In the long run these improvements will stabilize the servers. Happy gaming everyone.

I wonder in what servers and server groups these issues are most prevalent.
