Ok here is my Synthesis pattern macro.
Notes
I have a base of 273 CP and I get an extra 10 from Frumenty (food can be purchased from vendors) this gives me 283 CP

Part 1
/ac "Inner Quiet" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Great Strides" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Steady Hand" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Standard Touch" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Great Strides" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Standard Touch" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Standard Touch" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Rumination" <me>

Part 2
/ac "Master's Mend" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Basic Touch" <me> or /ac "Steady Hand" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Basic Synthesis" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Basic Synthesis" <me>
/wait 3
/ac "Basic Synthesis" <me>

I have had several 100% HQ items already running this macro and it has failed as well. But at the end of it all the only difference between this and doing it manually is me being super picky trying to hit every Good or Excellent condition. And even manually you aren't going to get it. So There we have it. I'm still doing walnut lumber and getting between 2-3.1k exp with these two macros. I just hit level 31 and still just short of making walnut lumber in one shot.

First thing I notice is "Great Strides" Why use it on steps 1 and 2 of "Inner Quiet" instead of 2 and 3? 0% and 11% doubled instead of 11% and 23%, no difference in having "Steady Hand" up.

Could you clarify what you are talking about with "steps 1 and 2" here?

You can do this for crafting with ingame macros? I've been going insane pressing the same buttons constantly grinding up armoursmithing and iron ingots then steel ingots! So how does it work, you push "Synth" then push the macro button on your bar?

So for the lumber what I'm doing is picking which one I want to make, in this case Walnut logs, I make sure I have the logs in my inventory then press synthesis.

The window pops up and I hit the first macro, it does its thing. (Part 1)
I then press the second macros to finish (Part2) and viola I have my lumber.

Yeah can you please be a little more specific with what you are talking about, I"m confused as well.

are you saying to do something like this instead of this.

"Great Strides" only doubles 1 Touch; the 3 turns is how long you have before it wears off if you don't use a touch. "Inner Quiet" gives you a control boost with each successful Touch. The first Touch you land with it up (step 1) has no bonus, the 2nd successful Touch gets a control bonus that gives about 11% more quality, then the 3rd gets a boost of about 23%, and so on, adding around 11% of a boost from the previous synth each time. So you'll average more by doubling step 3 vs step 1 of "Inner Quiet."

Going to give this a try. Had 600 silver ores from mining that I was converting into ingots, started making stupid errors halfway through from fatigue.
