A friend of mine is an Archer, and wondering how much accuracy he'll need. Is there a resource out there that lists how much of each stat is recommended for the various jobs?
Star Swirl on Behemoth AKA Best-hemoth AKA The Cool Kid's Table----60AST, 60WHM, 60SCH/SMN, 60BLM, 60MNK, 38 PLD, 34DRG, 31NIN, 27MRD
FFXI- Derpypony on Asura
Check out the Dream Network, a community for XIV fans, featuring notable streamers like Mr. Happy, MTQcapture, Rahhzay, and Slyakagreyfox!
Then maybe check out myself, EquestriaGuy, on twitch at

I think it's too early for this. The reason you could ask this and get an answer in the FFXI forum is because players had worked this information out via rigorous testing. That takes time. The fact that we're only a few weeks in to XIV means that much less is known about "the numbers".

You can always take a screen shot of the 1017 error and set it to your desktop background, its like playing FFXIV from work

He'll need no accuracy at all. None.

I'm not trolling, the accuracy cap is 100% and its super easy to hit. I've been parsing all of my endgame content, and the basic af is enough to cap your accuracy at this stage. I suspect the algorithm is either bugged, or will be changed to make accuracy harder to cap. For now, it's not even a stat I look at in the slightest when gearing up.

On of the most interesting things I learned from parsing is how much dmg comes from basic attacks. For many jobs it's where MOST of their dmg comes from, and for Bard, it's usually second only to Heavy Shot.
