okay right i thought that sometime along the story (+lvl20) plus there's the company bla bla quest and once you finished it you can then be able to ride a mount coeurl from CE...then some people said you can do a chocobo quest at 20? and then as i was doing quest in my other EU server i saw this girl who's only lvl11 and he's able to ride his mount coeurl already :(
i wanna ride one but had no idea how to be authorise to ride one or summon on can anyone help me please :D
i'm newbie btw so fancy word won't make sense to me oppsy

You realize you can change classes, right? And that a new class will start at level 1 but you're still able to use your mount?

What he means is that once you get your chocobo license (Which you stated you are doing right now, via the quest)
You can than use the mounts on any class that you may level in the future. So right now you are a 20+ Lancer (LNC), if you ever decide to train something like Pugilist (PGL) you can use the mounts immediately at level 1.

ok the steps are:
level 20 mission that grants the ability to join Grand Companies
pick one
farm/quest 2000 GC seals
buy chocobo license
mount
the level 11 you saw mounted has some DoM/DoW class higher than 20, he/she just wasn't on it at that time. Once you unlock personal mounts you can use them at any level

the chocobo license can be purchased at an npc in your grand company, whichever one that you pick.
its not well explained that who you need to buy it from, so a lot of people realize they are like lv25 and cant ride a mount.
buy the license then take it over to a chocobo npc, name the thing, then bam.
Once you can ride the chocobo, just use the coeurl, it has better mount music anyway.
