Patch 2.1Follow

I keep reading good stuff on patch 2.1 but can never find a release date anywhere, does anyone know WHEN this patch is coming? how about 2.2 and beyond?

at this time, no word on date other than a rough "couple of months"

remember patches are primarily new content(dungeons systems etc) those are the biggies and take a while to actually make, the game is only a week old, let SE put out all the launch fires first

Where is this information for 2.1? I'd love to skim over what they're planning.

Jesus Christ... The game was barely 10 days old when you posted this and is today still full of server issues.
Don't you think it's better to see those problems fixed first, before asking for a release date for patch 2.1 and even 2.2 and beyond ?
I do want housing too. I want to try PvP too, but above all i want to play a game that is free of major issues. There's no point in having a home, if you can't enter it because you can't even log in.

You remind me about v1.0, where players who didn't even got to lv10, asked where endgame was within the first week of beta.

It will get here, don't worry. Just give it time. The last thing SE needs right now is another failure because of "a rush for release".

i *think* I read somewhere (though I've been looking back and trying to find it recently and can't), that the roadmap was to release quarterly content updates. If that is true then 2.1 should release around the end of December.

All the log-in issues have been fixed for nearly two weeks.

More like this, but yeah, much better after the maintenance last week.

My guess is...and work with me on this one.

They know that after the first 30 days are up that a lot of people are going to leave the game...im not suggesting a game die off or anything...but you have a lot of people who will leave after one month regardless.

So if they wait on digital sales until right around the time these people will leave...then they don't have to buy more hardware only to have the game thin out a bit come the first sub.

Im actually waiting for the sales to open up, one thing is im curious just how many people are out there that want to play still...second ill probably start up a new class when this happens and ride the wave to endgame on a new character with all the noobs.

Hopefully by November they can get that new content out...and from there they will need to have some really good stuff in the works to keep people long term. You got two overhyped mmorpgs on the horizon here. One of which I think will be a burn out game that will appeal to the easy mode gamers who just want to max out the game in a few weeks, ***** about the game, and move on, the other might have staying power, and wont look like a crappy kids game...that one I would worry about if I was SE....and I would have major content due out to compete with that launch...im personally going to have trouble not playing it due to its IP....I hope it gets delayed tbh so I can play this game without distraction.
