Random thoughts and stuff.

Ward and gathering +1 stack so you can get 4 shards per hit on those nodes... 16 shards is not bad for 400 GP.

Hopefully they can introduce this later, but in FF11, you could break a cluster of energy into crystals, I got some crystals that I wouldn't mind breaking into shards.

Anyone know what's the level difference when you stop getting aggro? I'm still aggroing level 20 mobs as 28 miner and it's annoying.

Also find it highly annoying that while crafters can unlock recipes 3 levels ahead of time, miners and botanists can't... For example, crafters need only hit 28 to unlock 31-35 recipes but DoL need to hit 31 to unlock 31-35 items. . .

Any easier way to level DoL? The leves seem ok but not as great a deal as for crafters. . .

I believe crystal breaking was in XIV 1.0 as well under Alchemy. I am not sure if it is in 2.0. Anyone with ALC at at high enough level to verify?

They took out all crystal breaking. On the other hand, it's very fast to gather Crystal/Cluster now. Cluster may take some time, but if you got both BTN/MIN at high enough level you can farm from both type of node in Mor Dhona.
