- PS3 logout crash.
PS3 logout crash.Follow
Everytime I log out of the game, no matter where it is, my PS3 freezes during the logout process. Is anyone else having this happen? If I go to sleep in an Inn bed, it crashes, so I tried logging just in a normal sanctuary but ended in the same result. The game never crashes besides this point, so I really don't know what the deal is. It doesn't seem to affect my game at all, other than having to shut the PS3 down, but it's still rather annoying.
Just guessing, maybe there's something wrong with your installation? I know downloading the whole game client again is such a drag, but deleting and re-installing could remove that problem. You could do tomorrow when the 10 hour (TEN HOURS!!) maintenance hits.
This happened to me a couple of times! I really don't think it's a problem with your install, I think it's an issue that needs to be patched. The logout process just seems glitchy. It really is an issue though, it's prevented my from getting my rested bonus.

Really? Cause you don't have to be logged out (properly or otherwise) to get your rested bonus, you can sit in a sanctuary while online and still earn it. I just find it odd that crashing during logout would make you not get the rested bonus since you get it pretty much no matter what you do otherwise.

I doubt it's that. It had been working fine until a couple days ago. I really don't wanna reinstall. lol

I really doubt this. When you're in a rested zone, make sure to look for the moon icon under you exp. bar. There are certain areas in the game that seem like they would be sanctuaries, but aren't. If that moon icon isn't there, you're not getting your bonus.
No, I always logout in an in room. I'm not confused about what's considered a sanctuary.
That happens to me regularly as well. It has never prevented me from gaining rested XP however. The only difference is that the PS3 beeps three time on shutdown instead of one :p
