About Us

Digital Toxin is a Multi-game TeamSpeak Community based in the EU. Our aim is to provide a central hub where you can play and enjoy games with friends in a social, casual and fun environment. While we are based in Europe we are happy to accept members from across the globe should our time zone suit you. We have a fully featured website, forums, Team Speak 3 server and YouTube Channel.

We are currently active in FFXIV: Realm Reborn on the server Odin (EU).

Do Multi-Game Communities Lack Focus?

That’s a common problem in multi-game communities; however one which we don't face. Both myself (RiGoRmOrTiS) and LexC are community leads for our FFXIV Free Company and will treat it in the same way as any FFXIV guild would. Any other MMO's played by the community are managed and run by different community moderators. We were the very first Free Company to form on Odin and have made great progress and had a lot of fun so far.

We arrange regular in-game events along with everything else you would expect from a casual, social guild.

Why an 18+ community?

It's the most appropriate age to filter out a large portion of the immature folk. I'm sure this is an unfair generalisation and there are plenty of people who are immature beyond the age of 18; but we feel this is the easiest and fairest way. It allows people to speak their mind without thinking “there’s a kid in the channel!” and generally speaking; the older you are the less likely you'll be offended or take yourself too seriously (the most common cause of drama!)

Is Digital Toxin for me?

Do you see guilds as a means to an end? Do you do nothing but grind and progress without social interaction? Are you a drama queen? If so, we aren't for you!

Are you a highly social, emotionally stable individual looking to have fun with other people in Final Fantasy XIV and beyond? Can you deal with social issues maturely? Are you looking for a community which will last even after a game fades? Are you looking for a laid back atmosphere? If so we might be the community for you!

It's no hold bars fun, jokes and sarcasm. If that sounds to your liking then we highly recommend you make an application!

Multi-game community?

As a multi-game community our members enjoy a variety of games (MMO’s and Multiplayer). We try to bring everyone together regardless of the game you might be playing. We host games nights at least once every two weeks, where we invite everyone to play games like Minecraft, Magicka, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Star Craft 2 and many more. This is entirely optional however the reason we do this is to facilitate a more coherent community giving people less reason to move on should they tire of one particular game, this means in our community you are more likely to retain friendships and not lose contact with any friends that you make.

In Summary

We are a relatively new community built from the ashes of an older guild so by joining us you are really helping form our community in FFXIV: Realm Reborn and beyond. Both myself and LexC are huge Final Fantasy fans and are super hyped for FFXIV's re-birth and hope you will consider joining us in this epic endeavour!
