The method for picking those up hasn't been revealed yet to the best of my knowledge.

Please look forward to it.

Every time someone at TGS beats Titan SE draws a random server and everyone on that server gets an earring.

Summary with list of winning servers:

so bolding the obvious:

Since the Titan challenge will be going on throughout the coming days, we'll be doing our best to add the names of the winning Worlds below as quickly as we can. However, we appreciate your patience as the list won't be updated in real-time! Also, details on how to receive the cactuar earrings will be announced at a later time.

I saw my server listed as having the reward, logged in this morning and didn't see any new mail icon. triple check the post and then read the bold part.

Of course they did...could you imagine the amount of **** hurt from an entire server who didn't get the new shiny everyone else got? It would have been awesome if there were 2 or 3 servers who got the shaft...but SE couldn't do that...

No, SE is going to interpret this as Titan being too easy and ramp up the difficulty in the next big bosses. Smiley: sly

Waiting until every world has won to implement a delivery method for all characters on all worlds is much easier than implementing a delivery method for selective worlds. I'm sure that at no point did they plan for the possibility of certain worlds not winning.

Same thing as FFXI in 2003 when the outpost teleports were awarded to worlds who had defeated their Twinkling Treant. Of course they wouldn't let a world go without that feature.

I don't really see the point of a lottery where everyone wins, but hey, I can't complain about winning something!

Its called PR. The game has been out roughly a month, they needed foot traffic at TGS to keep hype, and by causation, sales up.

It was more for the people actually participating. I'm sure they all felt satisfaction "winning for everyone". You know no one will be left out in the cold but it's more fun since they did it within the 'requirement'.

Forgive my ignorance here, but what's with all of the fire resistance+1 gear. Is all of Eorzea about to be bathed in fire? Again?
