Macro for using potions :: Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, FF14)

Hi,
I'd like to create a macro that can pop a "Wind Ward Potion" along with other defensive buffs during Garuda's HM fight but i cant seem to figure out how the macro for potions work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Easiest thing is to drag the potion from you inventory to your hotbar, then create a shortcut to the hotbar.

I use the hotbar myself. I'm ps3 so I stuck it on my tele/mount/run list. Comes in quite handy during a pinch.
