Cant advance main missionsFollow
So my friend gridded to 28. the last mission he did was the thousand maws dungeon missions. After completing it (which it shows it as complete in his journal) Is should Unlock the quests A simple gift and Shadows of the Empire. Shadow of the Empire quest is unlocked which further proves he completed thousand Maws Buscarron is supposed to give him the next main mission A simple gift. But when he goes to Buscarron theres no mission marker over his head and talking to him does nothing, tried rezoning and even logging out and back in and disbanding party. Neither action worked and now he cant advance. Also He cant repeat guildleves despite having 98 allowances. Anyone know whats wrong?
I'd say bug. I ran into a bug end game today trying to attune to Garuda HM Atheryte which is supposed to give me acces to Garuda HM in Duty Finder and when I attune to it it says "Garuda HM unlocked in DF" but the quest never finishes and I can attune to it over and over repeatedly and nothing happens. I get the same message but no progress. I'm guessing there's some server issues which is why they have them down now for maintenance so maybe your friend can try again after they're up.

Cant help the first person since that mission worked perfectly for me, but i can help you.
You need to have a look at your seals. the HM Garuda unlock gives seals upon completion. If you're currently capped on seals (anyone would be by then, really) you cant actually finish the quest. Buy something from your GC, try again.

unfortunately none of those issues applies to my situation. Also that same message was posted earlier in the day for the JP servers (which are the servers we're onm) and despite those fixes already being implemented he still cant advance
I may have found a solution. Supposedly that quest can be skipped and you can go straight to the Believe in Your Sylph quest. So Ill have him go to little Solace and see is Kumoxio is offering that mission instead
