Hey all,
Started a new character the other day and I did not realize the crafting guilds are not available to join right away. I never noticed on my main character because I was doing all these quests and leveling. At one point do crafting guilds become available?

Assuming you're on a fresh character the opportunity to pursue something other than the class you started on opens up at level 10. Could be some questing involved to but level 10 still.

At level 10 you can join new guilds for classes and crafts. I am not sure if it is level 10 or the level 10 story quest tho
After you finish your character's first lvl 10 guild quest.
Though if you're looking to sell stuff on the Market Boards, you'll have to quest until you unlock Retainers, which comes with completing your first Copperbells Mine run.
Otherwise, I suppose you could exclusively do leves, though, without retainers, I would imagine your inventory is going to fill up fast.

You need to complete the quest level 10 of your first discipline of war or magic before unlocking any second class (either crafting or others).
Doing that will also help you having at least a bit of money in the bank before buying all your material for crafting :)
