Here are a few pics I took with my phone about DMG from this storm system today, take care when there are warnings of sever weather.

Where it broke off,

Side of the house looking toward the back end,

And the back end, can't tell yet but think my back porch is fubar.

Geez. Luck was with you there. Have fun with the cleanup :-/

This the exact reason I just spent a few thousand dollars having trees removed trimmed all over my property (too many that seemed ready to fall in a storm).

I live on the Gulf coast in FL (central) and a like 8 yrs ago when my area was hit by a trop storm its split an oak in my yard in half and this oaks base was about as round as and old VW. I was actually playing FF11 on a ps2 when i heard BOOOM! my room mate's and I went to back door saw the tree split and was like omg thank goodness it missed the house..... as we are looking around My room mate starts to cry a little, we are whats wrong ? and she goes where are the vehicles ? lol needless to say I had a brand new Ford Ranger and that tree turned it into a taco lol.. Her dad was ok with the situation because hes a big time BBQ guy and he got a ton of oak lol
