SCH shields not stacking and groupingFollow

I read an interesting thread on another forum that was discussing the fact that SCH's shields do not stack with another SCH's shield, essentially negating a large portion of our healing potential. This in effect makes taking multiple SCH much less desirable for large group raids as opposed to taking several WHM's, who would not suffer such a penalty by working together. What is everyone's thoughts on this? I love the play style of SCH, but I don't want to become marginalized come end game.

I've been thinking more and more recently that my time may be better served at this point by skipping end game all together (for the time being) and simply leveling several classes to 50 so that I can wait and see how class adjustments will reshape the field.

Taking multiple WHM does have its diminishing point: Stone Skin, Protect, Regen, Medica II HoT effect all does not stack. Also, over cure people health because both WHM are spike heal (gigantic heal return, say 2 Benevolence on one single character = 1 Benevolence wasted since it heals full HP).

The ideal condition is 1 WHM 1 SCH.

Very good points. I think the thread that I was reading had people theory crafting on large scale raids with parities larger than 8 people. For me I think that, at the very least, succor and adloquium should stack.

First, Medica 2 does stack. All HoTs stack. I had a FC member beat Titan HM in a pug that had 2 SCH. They both used Scared Soil in unison, they have a better Virus to lower boss attack damage as well as having the damage mitigation buff on shorter CD. Shields not stacking may seem like a problem but its not. From my POV Succor is for when you need to recover AoE damage or prevent Aoe Damage. If if its to prevent, then shortly after the shield is wiped, a new one can be placed on the group. I have also had my heals parsed and came out higher then a WHM when my fairy's cures are added to my total with hate split between us. So TL:DR stacking is fine, you just have to play smart with it.

Scratch that, just had 2 x Medica II on. You're correct it stacks.
