I am getting tired of using Arcanist and a healer talking crap when I help heal. The party is almost dead what do you think I am going to do? Sit and look pretty and let the party wipe while you struggling. They need to let players know arc can support a healer as well. If the tank is at 35% health I am sorry, I will heal the tank. Do any others go through this with healers at boss fights? The people are not geared enough. I can still DPS and heal at the same time its not hard. You got the side bar showing you health. Probably shouldn't ruin your DPS to gimp-heal unless the healer runs out of mana or disconnects or something. Don't bother healing.

I completely disagree with this. What good will your slightly higher DPS do you when your tank is dead and you are getting smacked in the face and all your spells are getting interrupted?

Keep your tank alive at all costs, or your DPS will suffer worse than tossing a few heals.

Edit: punctuation!

It's not that big a deal pre-50. It can be helpful to emergency cure a tank if you can react fast enough.
Keeping a whole party topped off when you could be DPS'ing is a different story, but I get that you understand that.

When you start getting massive differences in healing potential with iLvl 55+ gear, it's really not worth it.
