It was kinda funny; I join up with a buddy to run AK, and I zone out of Ul'dah and into the dungeon, leaving Ul'dah in all it's Cascadier glory.

Forty minutes later, I zone out and suddenly it's Halloween. Halloween everywhere.

New music in the cities (which was quite festive, and easy on the ears) and a fun little quest line that ended on a "d'aww" moment. It's a neat distraction, and I hope as the event goes on there will be more to it. It lasts until the 1st of November, so everyone's got some time. Go and get your ghost costumes folks!

Yes, SE does a fantastic job on their events. My fiancee will lose her mind, she is a Halloween fanatic. I am glad they are doing quests, the Moonfire thing wasn't very fun at all, and went on way too long. The FATE was fun the first time, then it got annoying unless you were an AoE-capable class.
