When I change comps from my desktop to my laptop, or if I go to a friend's house to play, I lose all my gear presets besides the one I'm wearing. Can I find the gear save file and email it to myself so I have it on whatever comp I need?

Mr Happy did a video explaining how to find that sort of thing and copy it to another computer.

Suffice to say that, yes, all settings are stored locally and are character specific. Because of course they are.
