Let us know how you got on this weekend.

Weaver 28 → 31
Leatherworker 17 → 21
Botanist 24 → 31

I also did A LOT of farming, got a good two hours uninterrupted farming on Banemites at Fallgourd Fort so I managed to make back the money I'd spent on webs and had more than enough left over to take me to flax and make a little profit, then leveled Botanist to Flax level to help with the next stages of Weaver. All in all not that many levels, but I did make a handsome profit.

Also, there was a stupid amount of RMT bots appeared at Bentbranch over the weekend, I think I counted 8 visible and who knows how many of the 'invisible' ones.

Not as much as I would have liked...

MRD 35-36

CNJ 12-16

Literally bumped into a friend from FFXI who had come over to ARR in the last couple of days. Our old LS on Asura has died as we all migrated over to ARR, and she was one of the last to jump ship.

Helped the lower lvl members of the LS/FC get the early dungeons finished :-)

Botanist leveled up to 37 while I farmed over 2k trees and several hundreds of flax. I used some of the flax to make gear and took weaver from 35-37. I then focused on carpenter and leveled 30-42. I'll probably work my way up 1-2 levels each day over the week til I get to 50. I also managed to get one more level on archer to 21 somewhere between it all.

Hmm FC drama. Group members hopping servers. Was kind of a meh weekend.

>Took DRG to 34 for blood for blood
>Got BRD fully decked out in DL gear so I can change to it during turn 2
>Put more hours in to learning Twintania. Pretty easy fight but the phase transitions usually get someone
>Did a lot of Titan runs and spent time working on astral choker

And that's that. Twin was downed on Midgard today so now my FC is even more reluctant to put effort into downing her. Kind of frustrating!

Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend.

Crystal and I progressed in the main story line and beat Stone Vigil with the help of a couple of members of the FC (Thanks Kraken Club!)

Other than that got:

DRG 41 --> 43
LTW 42 --> 49

And Crystal got WHM 44 along with 3 pieces of gear from SV (lucky!)

Overall a great weekend, had a lot of fun, mostly relaxed and played FF as much as I could! Smiley: grin

Conjurer 36.
Fisher 47.

I have a problem with my priorities. Smiley: lol

That said, having a high level DoL job has made doing things on my Conjurer a bit easier. I can Stealth up and visit places that would otherwise be full of aggro.

Saturday I got my first piece of Relic armor for my SMN. I'd been saving up to get the body first. Did an AK run and got a Demagogue Ring, some tomes, and bought Darklight Boots of Casting. Did a few HM Ifrit runs in the DF. Won my Book on the 4th. Got my WAR to level 34 and passed the Brayflox Tank Test with flying colors and got Cavalry hands. Tried HM Garuda for the first time in the DF and got pwnt until people ragequit.

Sunday I cleared HM Garuda after a few tries with a shout group in Revtoll. Did a couple WP runs with my LS to build the tome stash back up. Went to Ogomoro and unlocked HM Titan. Joined a shout group for him. We did pretty darned well, actually. Nine tries, we broke his heart 4 times, not one person got hit by a Landslide, and we worked his last phase for a couple minutes each time. The plumes just comes out so damned fast and there's so little space to dodge. He'd be easy if the arena wasn't so small. So we disbanded that group on a good note and I went and did another WP with my LS, and called it a night.

I got my main character, an Archer/Bard, to 37. I did this mostly in Coerthas, which I find to be a very, very cool and atmospheric area. I like cold, snowy areas in games. Smiley: nod

I also got a new alt, a Pugilist, from lvl 1 to nearly lvl 15 in a few hours time. I rushed through it because I want to get her from Ul'dah to Gridania so she can fight alongside my wife's new alt, an archer. Once I'm there, I'll slow down. I don't like rushing through MMO's; I prefer taking my time, reading everything, and enjoying all that the game provides.

Eric has 44-47 Arcanist, currently blocked by a lvl 49 barrier for the main quest. Will be pushing to hit 50 this week. Darkhold completed and ranked up to Serpent Sergeant

Lin went from Toto-Rak to Titan in the main story. Stopped short of the game's first major story-line twist to end the day on a high note. Still need to get side dungeons done to finish up her rank 2 Company Hunting Log.

Im going to take a break from playing for a bit. I really like most aspects of this game but, and I know its been said before and people dont want to hear it, the duty finder people are starting to ruin my experience as I get into the higher level story quests. Not giving up, i just figure since my sub is up i'll take a bit off to play some other games for a bit.

Its just really discouraging to go through an entire run that goes smoothly only to be reamed out because you make a mistake on the final boss of the dungeon. The dungeon I did before that I thought went smoothly too but I guess im not supposed to kill the monsters youre supposed to sneak around them, or people get mad? My "thanks for the party" is met with rude comments.. Oh well.

I think once I come back im going to focus on Blackmage more, being a tank is just getting less fun. Sorry for the negativity but today was pretty lame for me.

Good weekend all in all.

>Got Gladiator (Paladin) to 45 and got the AF armor (except chest). Really does look very cool. Realized things are a lot different in the FATE parties 42-50 than they were when I leveled blm to 50 originally. Smiley: dubious

>The gods of BC dropped me some Allagan boots. That is my third piece. Hoo rah! Smiley: grin

>Last week downed Turn 1 and 2, had some trouble with damage check on turn 4. Was parsing highest at 250, so I dont think it was me. Downed turn 1 on the first shot yesterday. Think we got our groove down on that one. Smiley: cool

>After three weeks finally gathered enough myth to get my AF2 armor. Converted my vanya coat of casting with full slotted materia costing me over 450k for..drum roll.. Ice Materia IV Smiley: bah Smiley: madSmiley: madSmiley: mad#@#$%@$#%@$#%@

>Leatherworker 41 to 43 off of the hundreds of boar skins I received for costa leves. Smiley: smile

>Alchemy to 15 for Tricks of the Trade so I can HQ pretty much anything using a long convoluted manual process Smiley: smile

>Finally got all my gathering classes above level 10 and did some inventory cleanup over the weekend. Bout time. []

That is a fun test. First time you have to tank and kite at the same time. Smiley: grin

This was a help-friends weekend.

Chimera, Aurum Vale, Hydra, CM, Praetorium, followed by lots of Ifrit and some Garuda.

Then my second second buddy hit 50 and we did the whole cycle again!

My friends did exceptionally well on their first time runs. The RL friend team is really shaping up! Super, super fun to play with RL friends.
