Yeehaw. Not sure i'm gonna be able to play this game in any capacity, at least on the PC, glad the test helped me figure that out though.

Finally got it to work, but somehow it's making my computer crash..

Redrig, best I can tell you is to update everything from windows updates to graphics card, to anything else you have. I recommend Driver Genius.
Somewhat disappointed

I will have no problem running the game as my benchmark was about 4300. I was hoping to enjoy the imagery at high settings though. I'm only running a core i5, 4gb of memory and a single Radeon HD 4870 with no OC done to it. I guess you get what you pay for. But it's kind of sad since I only paid $350 for the ps3 and it will probably perform better. :)

Trully a sad day for this FF fan.

I only got a 5162 on high res, but that was without updating the video drivers first or anything. Could probably push it to 6K.

odd... I'm only running a core i5 and single radeon HD 4870 and it runs fine... I'm kind of disappointed in my benchmark though... I only hit 4300... but I don't OC anything either.

Go to Microsoft's website and do a search for "DirectX End-User Runtime". The first page the search comes up with should help you (the page should say "DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer".

I had the same problem (incomplete DX9), even though I was listed at DirectX 11. I don't know the circumstances of your setup, but mine was just about right after installing Win7 Ultimate 64-bit fresh.

3236 here, which was running pretty good for me. Wonder how that translates to in game performance though.

What hardware are you running? Mine is a little dated, but it's an Intel Core 2 Quad, and a pair of GTX 260's in SLI mode. 8GB of DDR3 RAM and the Hard disks are two Raptors in Raid (striped).

So far I'm getting "This program can't start because d3dx9_41.dll is missing from your computer." errors. Then again, I for fun, tried running the benchmark on my brother's netbook / ancient Dell Dimension desktop, and my other brother's Dell Studio laptop - all of which have integrated graphics or basic GPUs so not exactly surprised there :). Guess I wait for my system to come home from down south (work related) before I try this again. I know even the best system of the bunch might at best, have 128 or 256MB of VRAM so again, not surprised.

Updating to say I tried all 3 systems again after updating DirectX fully from Microsoft's site. Now I'm at least getting the benchmark to succssfully launch but immediately gray out with "Windows has encountered a problem..." box - some progress at least! Hopefully I don't see this when I get my main system back up and running though!

Anyone else run it yet? I got 2445, going to play with my config to see if I can do any better.

Oh, and my score was on high-res, I haven't run the low res yet..

I get 2503 with an E8400 core 2 duo 3.0ghz 4gb ddr2 800mhz ram and a single bfg gtx 260 oc edition with an old 16mb 7200rpm hdd on High res...

I was scouring these forums to try and find out if getting another gtx 260 in sli would increase my performance over what im already getting.
