Final Fantasy XIV Patch Location on local Hard Drive?

Hello,

I have two computers, I sometimes play on either one... I'm installing FFIX on both, I have patched one up, and would like to save the excruciating 12 hour patch DL I experience on the first one.

Can some one tell me where to snag the patch files from? and where to put them on the new install?

I'm using Win 7.

Thanks.

zWolfman out.

Same as other comments, paid for the CE to get a head start not a headache. Downloader is garbage p2p type and I'm not joining the club just to get a dl. This sux but is typical of SE and jp game.
alternate ways...

They are using regular torrent mechanic, but their implementation really doesnt work well.

It is possible to use regular torrent application instead, which will download much much much more faster. Look on the forums for detail on how to do this.
Stuck downloading update

I've had the game for two days now. TWO DAYS and I still can't play because I'm still trying to finish the damn download from the super ultimate sh*tty P2P updater program. This is absolutely ridiculous. I'm about 90% done with the first update file from 9/19/10 and now I have to download another. At this rate, I won't be playing until next week, which totally defeats the purpose of me getting the collector's edition. I'm really starting to think I just wasted a lot of money.

Then I got my hopes up by seeing you had the update for download, only to find it is not here anymore. I mean, am I the only one having this much trouble downloading the freaking update? Why doesn't SE just do like everyone else and release patches direct download either through them or a third party? Totally inexcusable for me to have this much trouble. I heard people had problems like this during the beta, but this is the full product.

Oh, well. Guess I'll just have to hope that I can get in within the next few days, because when the regular edition hits, I might really be effed.
Damn SE

LOL, SE had it removed. I guess they don't actually want people to PLAY their game.
Wow I feel stupid for asking this

Do I need to download this file a certain way? Put it in a special place? I'm so antiquated when it comes to this stuff.
