Discounts Extended for Simultaneous Players

The bonuses initially offered to players venturing simultaneous throughout Vana'diel in Final Fantasy XI and Eorzea in Final Fantasy XIV have gotten their own extension.  Originally set to end in January, these perks will now extend until March 2011.  Here is a breakdown of what is offered if you link active accounts from both titles to the same Square Enix Account:

1) Discounted FFXI fees - from $12.95 a month to $7.00 a month

2) Hermes' Shoes - A unique item that boosts movement speed

3) Name Transfer - Bring your FFXI character name to FFXIV (Given Name = character name , Surname = server name)

You can view all the rules and details on these offers at the Lodestone!

Im the one who bought a game and was then let down... Now SE is doing damage control by offering incintives to stay with them? I think SE should be expressing to the gamer its gratitude.

Kithorain, that's probably because XIV is still in the free period, you're not paying for it yet anyway.
