quick question about getting ahold of the mods about the contest. I didn't want to just start a forum topic, and wasn't sure if I should pm anyone(don't want to bug anyone) but I was wondering about the contest prizes and how to talk to someone about them. I've sent email to the same address that I sent the pumpkin pic for the contest... and I haven't recieved any info back. I know pikko recieves alot of email and such, but I wanted to make sure that they recieved my info for mailing prizes(was totally hyper about placing in the contest and can't wait to get the prizes.) so if anyone could give some advise on where to go from here that would be great.(I've actually sent two emails so that's why I was trying this)

I expected a good standard and the pumpkins delivered, but sadly let down that they weren't showcased with a little more care. Its sad to see "more then" be written on a leading site viewed by thousands (re: the comment on the "Imp" pumpkin). Excellent pumpkins but the site needs someone to vet final submissions if it wants more credibility.

WOW, I was very surprised. I loved the Imp pumpkin and thought it would win for sure. The detail, design and originality were top notch! In fact, I think all the FFXIV pumpkins were amazing! Even with so few entries, I thought I would be lucky to get 4th (close but no cigar like last year). I even started working on a design for next year, thinking I had lost this year and I would have to work SUPER hard for next year's contest.

I am glad you all liked my design. ^_^

Thank you everyone!

your pumpkin had amazing detail....the shading effects and it was so clean cut. I was really surprised to get next after you(and happy)...... the characters on the pumpkin are my other character (the lalafel fits better on a pumpkin then my main a miqote) his name is Kage Tsukagi, a lancer, and the thm was my sis's character Ayavi tsuyavi.... also her other character. we though it would be epic if they were battling an imp since both characters are low lvl characters. and the effects are the imp sort of disapearing...

I've entered the contest before( though it was a few years back and for xi) and didn't do as good of job so I'm really happy with this year.... and I can't wait for next year either .....

I apologize in advance if I offend anyone. I do not know how the winners were chosen, I'm guessing by popular vote though???

I was amazed that you won also. That Imp Battle pumpkin was simply awesome in detail and content from as far left to as far right you could see.
