...pretty much right on the nose for me...

Also, if you are doing the event for the Elite Knight, Priest and Necromancers of Decay for PoP Hunters, DO NOT ENGAGE BERTOX until you get your 3 mobs. You can rush through the event, get Bertox to spawn, and kill him without getting all 3. But if you just keep the 5 pools of adds down and then ignore Bertox when he spawns, adds will continue to spawn at the 5 areas until the event ends. At least an Elite spawning at a pool of adds seems to be about 50/.50 … and you can have more than 1. Knights are more common than Priests and Priests are more common than Necros, at least from what I saw.
can be lvl 70

SoC and Bert

Spoiler incoming:

First off Spectre of Corruption respawns 6 hours after her death in case the previous Bert run spawns. Here is a break down of how I run the Bert script, your results and methods may vary:

Raid set up will depend on your guild, but as this event is suppost to be pre-Saryrn I will do the make up as my guild is now (Emp killed, no VT clears yet):

Main Assist(MA)Group: three warriors, bard, 2 clerics
Second Main Assist Group: Two more warriors, Main Knight (we use SK), Bard, 2 clerics
Split Group: 3 monks, druid, cleric, shaman
DPS Group: Bard + rogues or wizzies or both
The rest of the groups should be balanced with all remaining healers balanced througout. This event is heavily dependant on Necros and Enchanters, have at least 4 total combined.

Logic on group make ups are simple, you need your main tanks with a bard (explained later) as well your second main assist group is flexible and dependant on numbers, but the warriors/knights put into this group should be capable of split tanking.

The Event:
First off, spend the time explaining to the raid that there will be no AFK time, there is no room for poor quality two boxing and that everyone needs to be alert for the next 2 hours and 10 minutes. Get everyone shrunk as small as they can. Explain to people that they need to have a way to shrink themselves if they are a large race without shm/bst in their group. Set your MT rotation for the Kings right away, I recommend 4 deep, but if you cannot go 4 deep, you need at least 2. Set your MA now, should be a warrior who is fast targetting and can maintain aggro. As well set your main splitter (Knight). Have the clerics know their rot beforehand. 5 deep is okay and should be enough till Bert. Buffing: Max HPs, mana regen haste and atk buffs. For MA groups all warriors and knights need GoD and Ferocity. Magic resists are very important, as the Carpin Script should have taught you.

Kill Spectre of Corruption, straight forward Melee. Once the SoC dies, have everyone move to the North room. There are four rooms, North, east south and west, have a map handy as you will need to lead them to each room without going thru the center. You have 5 minutes from when you kill the SoC before teh script timer starts. Once the script starts you have a maximum of 2 hours to kill Bertoxx so make sure you note when the emote is broadcast to the zone.

Once everyone is in the north room, move them in right away and have the caster get to the walls. When the script starts, the mobs start walking into the room through the 2 entrances, this is when the tanking/mezzing begin. KEY: everyone has to assist the MA at all times Once all mobs are dead, OTM them to the east room (clockwise). What follows is the same proceedure for every room that follows:

Once everyone is stopped outside the next room, have the MA/MT step up to the front while the first monk in the split group runs in, tags a mob and runs away from the raid and FD's. What this does is allow for better targetting for your mezzers. The monks will die, and die alot, thus the rezzing/buffing crew in their group. Once the mobs have been broken up a bit, the MA should announce to his healing crew he is going in, we will rush in as will the main splitter and fun begins. MA gets his target, splitter has his and the necros and chanters should be mezzing anything that moves. Bards outside of the MA group can help with mezzing if your mezzing crew is having a hard time. Bards in MA groups should have Psalm of Veeshan up at all times during the raid. Systematically clear all mobs in the room, until none remain. OTM the raid to the next room in a clockwise motion. Always have them stop short and repeat the above proceedure.

For "Kings" (Adan's) the proceedure is only slightly different. First off the split tank will not be splitting unless it is to save a cleric. Second the MT for each king needs to be called. If you preset your rotation as mentioned, just rotate thru them from room to room (king 1: mt1, king 2: mt2...) to keep evasive/defensive ready to go. For all kings, have your tanks hold their engage call a few seconds longer then usual, once engage is called, get the king pinned. Now most of the kings are straight forward but here are a few need to knows (go thru beastiary to review them): I believe the 7th king procs a 5 sec stun, odds are if engage is called too quickly you will lose lots of folks as aggro bounces. 8th king dies and spawns the 9th king right immediately, the same tank should be able to tank both, but warn the casters to stay on the walls and have the MT for 8th aware that 9th is inc. 10th, 11th and 12th kings all proc Life Taps and nasty ones, your MTs MUST have GoD and Ferocity and your MT Bard must be playing PoV and never let it drop. 3500 and 5000 hp Lifetaps will own you if your not ready for it.

Speed is an issue, you need to be done the 12 kings in about 90 minutes to be on a good pace. Once the 12th king dies, do not OTM them yet. Make sure everyone is buffed with max Hps and regens. Ignore trying to buff resists as odds are you will not resist them (resist check on Bert's ae is -500). Once everyone is buffed OTM to te next room, which will be the fight room. All the mobs in this room need to be mezzed or petted (necros can get up to level 60 and chanters 64). If your dps is so so i highly recommend petting. Use shamans to get malosinia or at least malos on them and bards to help the chanters and necros with mezzing till they are all debuffed and ready to be petted. Once the mobs are under control, move the raid into the two little ramps that look at the center port in area. get your MT into one corner or the other that is closest to that center area. Have your rot check range and designate a rampage tank and 2 good healers plus secondaries on the RT. The RT will need to be smart, ie, intelligent. As the pulling of bert is easy with the new disciplines. The RT goes into the center room and left (there will be mobs to the right, but they willnot aggro unless your tank runs around with his head cut off). Have the RT target Bert (who should be on the other side of the port out block), have him give the cleric rot a 3 second warning that he is pulling then: Defensive, tag bert, invulnerable disc, and run up to the MT and stand there.

At this point corner him and push him in. DPS is the key, but this should be enough to get you close to winning, execution is the hard part
