You must be at least Level 6 to receive this quest.

Defeat the Kobold fern collectors and retrieve their Marsh Ferns. Report back to Fuquash when finished.

At least at this time you do not have to kill Kobolds for this. just go back to the swamp and gather 10 Marsh Ferns. Fuquash will never know the difference.

If you have an additional 10 Marsh Ferns on you when you get this quest, it will auto-complete and you can turn it in immediately, so it is in your interests to gather the extra 10 while you are out there for Rose's Business.
