Historical Information

Xuan Wu (Genbu in Japanese) is one of the four symbols of the Chinese Constellations, representing the "Black Tortoise of the North" and of the season of Winter. The other three symbols being the "Azure Dragon of the East" (see Seiryu), the "White Tiger of the West" (see Byakko), and the "Vermillion Bird of the South" (see Suzaku)

Each symbol corresponded to an element in the Five Element system, with Xuan Wu corresponding to the element of water. (In the Five Element system in China, there is a 5th legendary beast known as Huang Long, the Yellow Dragon of the Center. While there is no direct equivalent in Japanese, Huang Long is believed to be linked to the dragon Ouryu (see Ouryu)

these have been confirmed to be much weaker than the gods faced in ru'aun and drop nothing.

The summoned gods have a ton less HP and do not drop anything. My LS has fought Kirin many times with nary a drop from the summoned gods.

I think that summoned creatures do not have drops; at least that is my experience.

Well, they are not the *exact* same version. They have much less HP, but their DEF, ATK, and abilitie are the same. These can be taken down in less then 10 mins with a good group.

I also dont think they drop anything. However, if they do, dont take my word. I havn't fought these, but I know people who have.

Many references to these four Gods exist, because they are based on Chinese mythology which has existed for thousands of years.

Those four also appear in Otogi: Myth of Demons (XBox) as the game's four houses of magic: Genbu, Soryu, Byako, and Suzaku

Because it's a God beast at lvl 85+, does that answer your question? Also, are you familiar with eastern myths? if you do, you would know it's one of the 4 God beast that guard north, south, east, west. I forgot which the turtle guards.
Just FYI

Like the post above this one, each god beast guards a direction, and have a special color.

Suzaku (Phoenix) - South (Red)
Seiryuu (Dragon) - East (Blue/Green)
Byakko (Tiger) - West (White)
Genbu (Turtle) - North (Black)

so if the mobs are summoned, are they immediately in the call for help mode?

No. But I dont believe they every drop anything, so they are called for help on and anyone not in the main alliance fighting Kirin will spank the summon. This way if you really wanted you could have an infinate number of people fighting the summoned gods.
