Hahaha! I remember having hundreds of printed pages scattered everywhere because I didn't have constant access to a PC when I started playing FFXI. I'd have to go to a friend's house or print off a whole list of missions at school. And don't even get me started on my coveted skillchain chart.

I started XI on the 360 closed beta server, it was a delightful place to start as there was no RMT and most people were new to the game, after getting thrown off that into the real servers it got a lot more interesting. I stopped playing due to not having time to play as much as XI required to get anywhere. If I could pick one thing to bring from XI, I would say the scale of the worlds, XI had so many varied zones, I hope XIV brings that to the table (doesn't have to be at launch, XI already had a few expansions before coming to the 360)
