Which race will you play? Follow

I am definitely rolling a female character this time around.

It was cool at the beginning of my FFXI career to play a male elvaan. It was nice to put on new armor and look shiny and buff, but after a while, I can't help but keep on looking at all the female characters. I am definitely objectifying women in a way, but I rather stare at a women's backside for hours on end than a man's.

As to which race? I'm not really sure. All the hume, elvaan, galka and mithra all look nice. I thought about be cute and whatnot with choosing a taru, but I am leaning towards female galka, hume, mithra, then elvaan.

I'm a girl and I'd rather look at a guy character, not sure I want to personify a guy though haha. I think the male mithras are pretty hot, especially the seeker of the Sun one on the official site. I like to be rare though, and it seems like a large majority are going to be mithras. So I'll probably play as a dark skinned elezan, or possibly lala.

Well because I don't act like a guy, and I don't really role play. Sure a lot of men play as female characters but I don't think as many girls play as guys online when given the chance, or at least it's generally assumed that way?

In xi I had an alt character that was a galka that I liked to play sometimes, but everyone who knew me found it really weird. I specifically remember me typing to one friend as the galka and him standing there and typing back how weird it was and it didn't seem like me and such.

In 1.0 I was a dark blue skinned elezen, I like her and think she was pretty different, maybe I'll do that again with new hair... All I know it's I won't be a a hyur.

I wonder if there's actually a guide line for how different genders to act online..I really need to get a copy xP

Truth be told I don't know what my friends expect me to pick x3 I think I can pull off any race without really surprising anyone that knows me >.>

I would love to see pics where all races and male/female are shown in af for all the jobs. I want to see a roegadyn as drg/mnk/pld. Etc. Huge part for me about picking a race is what they look like in "end game" armor. Considering how long I wore sh/osode /hauby/haidate/hagun etc etc it's important to me to know what my guy will look like wearing stuff you are going to wear a long time.
Mmochampion always did this when a new tier came out for wow.

During character creation you're able to select if you want your character to wear nothing, race specific starting gear or job specific equipment so you can see what they look like.

Then you need to get a lalafell in fact everyone needs to get one cause...you know...they are awesome. Small things packed with awesomeness. (lalafell BLM what he may lack in size but he makes up for it with fireballs bigger than his height >_<)
