Just goes to show how badly Microsoft screwed the pooch. Clearly, now isn't the right climate for an online gaming console hooked to a motion camera that's so advanced, it can detect blinking.

Be smarter, Sony!

Well, Sony just essentially crapped all over Microsoft with their E3 presentation. It's not even close.

I couldn't agree more to that. I'll probably end up with both consoles eventually, but I'll be buying 2 PS4's first for myself and my son.

No online requirements, can sell used games, 399$ price point, better game library. Ya...

I don't even know if Bill himself is interested an XB1 now. That was a watershed moment for the PS4...or rather a woodshed for microsoft.

Damn, Sony so completely stomped Microsoft this time, I wonder whether they will actually continue development for the XBox.
There's a point where you can simply lay down your cards and admit you're out of the game.

This is pure scumbag greed by Microsoft and I love that it's blowing up in their faces. Sony stomped them into the ground.

The pause in applause after the price announcements...awkward.

I was wondering why people called it Xbone, until I saw the preview thumbnail of your video.
#112 Jun 11 2013 at 8:55 AM Rating: Good
Now of course I have the internet, what I am wondering is what about people that don't to be connected to the internet to play games that aren't mmo types or such on the xbox one. It's not right to force people to play online to always be connected.

It doesn't really matter but why the heck is the European price the same with the American one? I mean 499 dollar should be around 375 euros not 499 euros.

Even the creators of Halo are making a PS4 exclusive called Destiny.

Considering the lulz that was the PSPGo (which did less than the PSP and cost as much as a new PS3) I wasn't convinced Sony could pull it off but I'd say at least a golf clap is in order. They've pulled out all the stops to win this fight.

It's not exclusive.

So, I posted earlier today that MS might have lost the war already, but then this afternoon I read this:
http://www.engadget.com/2013/06/11/playstation-4-drm-policies-third-party/

I guess their policies will be the same as M$, although they still don't have the online requirement, and they are cheaper :p

Quite right. I misstated. Bungie is known for their Microsoft XBox/Windows exclusives for ravenous fans and they are exclusive no longer, proudly making their announcement at Sony's E3 presentation.

Actually, reading the comments on their site about the PS4 reveal is pretty entertaining. "Who wants to buy used games anyway?" "The PS4 uses a 1980s graphics card! Can't wait to see how much better Destiny looks on the 360!"

Fan boys and girls are hilarious Smiley: lol

What!? Someone made fun of Final Fantasy? I'll cut you! I'LL CUT YOU!

Ahem. Don't know what came over me...

It is like current games, you buy "Generic Sports Game", get the disc and a code to play online. If you give the game to a friend if he wants to play online he pays $10 for "Generic Sports Game" online gameplay. Most current EA titles on the PS3 are like this.

"Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity; it's called Xbox 360," Mattrick said. "If you have zero access to the Internet, that is an offline device."

You could see it on dude's face during the Sony presentation, he was struggling to not laugh himself silly.

An update on Xbox policy it seems. If this was keeping you from buying an Xbox One you are in luck! They realized they effed up with those shenanigans I guess.

But still $100 more than PS4, and supposedly weaker with the RAM difference.

But most importantly, PS4 gets FFXIV: ARR. Xbox One is not.
