I caught the video 15 mins late but Samurai has been confirmed?! I have officially died and gone to heaven.

Updates: Expect new classes/jobs to be added before first expansion, Ishgard will be available to explore through Grand Company quests. They're talking about Fishing right now.
Samurai and NIN weren't confirmed but are strong possibilities? Don't quote me on that
didn't look like summoner with that tiny infant ifrit XD almost fell off my chair laughing when I saw it, good thing I swallow my soda just before it was revealed XD

- working on DirectX 11 and PS4 version simultaneously, hopefully both done within a year
- Scholar will branch off Arcanist, AoE/HoT(Regen) based, has a fairy companion
- Yoshi-P wasn't ready to talk about Ishgard, but there will be quests where you can learn more about it until they finally open the gates.
The stream is horrible so I might be behind.

No. They were just mentioned that people want them (Samurai and Ninja). He only brought them up as examples, that he doesn't know whether they'll branch off an existing class or be their own thing.

Phase 4: release Fisher for play. (video pause) System for Fishing: not like an action game. Fishing is supposed to be relaxing, to communicate with nature. (I can hear some Legacy Fishers raging right now). Players can go depending on if it's a lake, river, ocean to choose rod/bait/lure, what time of day it is (pause......) what type of fish you're looking for. RMT prevention (pause....wtf, video): individual fish are not that valuable. More about Fishing as an achievement through the fishing log.
sounds like fishing will have no crafting value?
Dream-team type of battle where you can fight past FF characters a la Coliseum in FFXIII-2!

Oh nothing much, they just showed the first in game footage of Arcanis, Scholar, and Summoner, the Ifrit Summon, revealed that Sch is a branching class, and a pet class that focuses on Regen and Healing over Time, and that Summoner's summons will be role-based, like Titan will tank, Garuda is a caster, etc etc.

With your own housing, there's permission settings about who can and can't enter. Possible to only allow Free Company members (pause...) or set it to allow FC members and ally FC members, or friend lists, or everyone. Also for example FC chest has its own separate authorization.
Nothing much that wasn't already mentioned in the thread. You don't have to attack me every time I post.
Start off, FC can purchase land and build houses there. (.....) They want to see how it goes, if the system can allow it then individual players can purchase their own houses. Jokes about Wada (Mr. Housing).
