Sending Mail to a MuleFollow

I tried to send mail to another beta character on my account, on the same server and got a message that you can only send to people in your friends list. Is this only in the beta or is this a permanent feature?

If it's permanent what would be the purpose of having multiple toons on the same server if you can't send stuff to them.

Couldnt you put your other character into your friends list so you can send the mail to them and try to fix the problem?

You can only add characters if they're online, unfortunately.

Ok, that's sounds better. I haven't been able to access the retainers yet. But that's an acceptable work around

That means that you have to level up your Mule first before you can send/receive from him/her. That stinks if that's the case.

Because of so much storage (stacks to 99, armory chest, retainers w/ HUGE inventory and ability to be your market board sellers/bazaars and basically account bank) I'm not sure why you need a mule anymore? Its not like FFXI, where we were forced to have mules for crafts, storage, overnight bazaars. A second character? I guess, but if its on the same account you can't have them both online together so again I don't see the point.

I used my mules to get supplies directly from the Guild suppliers (since the Guilds are not in all the cities). Its cheaper there then on the Boards.

Now, if the Guild only sells certain materials on certain days (like in FF11) I'll have to wait until I can get to those towns to get supplies. Very time consuming.

It's likely that a lot of the suppliers are going to have significantly less stock come Phase 4. But we'll have to see.

Don't know if this would work, and you'd probably need a friend to be in the party as well... but here goes...

I had a player that was in my party, and he logged out, but didn't leave the party. His name was still in the party, and I was allowed to send them a friend request by just clicking on his name inside the party options.

Maybe you can get in a party with a friend, log out, log on to your mule, have your friend invite the mule, log out the mule, then log back on to your main character and send a friend invite to your mule...

This might fix the solution. Smiley: cool
