Hihi. So, I created a Free Company that, as of now, has only ZAM people in it on Ultros server. It's called Ul'dah's Fate, but has been given the nickname "15k" (Only a select few people know why it's called this. Lol).
Anywho, I heard that Free Companies get access to special events that can only be undertaken with members of your FC. I was hoping to get some more info about this.
Has this been implemented yet? And if so, what kind of events are they?

From my understanding Free Companies can have a war chest? Items added are available to the entire Free Company (so long as rank is high enough to access it). More or less how corporations work in EVE Online.
Are we planning to allow non-zam members to join the free company? I have several friends who will be on Ultros who I know would be interested in joining. And unfortunately, if we aren't going that route, I probably won't be able to join since I'd very much like to group with them in-game.

I don't see why not. I created this FC just out of randomness, and although there are currently only ZAM people in it, I never intended it to be solely for us only. I'll try to catch you next time beta starts up ^^

Do you see what you've done, Shinda? How are you going to take responsibility for this, hmmmm!?
But yes, I don't see any problem with letting others outside of ZAM into my FC. Everything will be wiped anyway, and even when Phase 4 comes along, I might remake the FC (Depending on what everyone else wants to do; I'm not a great leader anyway lol).

Although I don't think this is a recruitment thread.. If you don't mind a complete newb who knows practically nothing about party play (and is bound to make a mistake or two) then I'd like to join. I'm definitely going to give it my all to learn everything I can to become a better candidate for these types of things. >.<

I don't believe they are implemented. I missed out the last weekend, but events that I know were planned included Primal Battles, and certain PVP content (inwhich you could use your captured primal against others).
