Reviews seem to be mixed on Amazon, but happy gaming!

That looks interesting, I think the size of it would throw me off though. Let us know how it works for you Smiley: grin

Holy crap they still have those for sale? I loved that thing! Only bad part was the joysticks sometimes got stuck.

My friend had one when FFXI first launched, I liked using it then, so I assume I will like it now too... too bad they never made one for the PS3, I have to get the converter for it.... but other than that, I can't wait to get it.

Sorry for being slightly off topic, but does the game work with an x-box (pc) controller?

magred if you happen to go with that option... Just a lil for warning I hope you have fingers the size of ants my friend... cause those buttons are tiny and the fat finger problem comes into play a lot with this option... But if it works for ya happy gaming ;)

Make sure you use/get a wired one. I heard there were some issues with the drivers for the wireless controllers. But once you plug in the wired 360 controller, it should download the driver automatically.

Ya I was just throwing it out there but I agree, I think I would have to pass cause typing on my phone already drives me up the wall. I could see some people definitely liking it though who are already proficient texters!! =D

I just have a key board plugged into my PS3. This thing looks crazy though.

I was thinking of giving this a try. If the bottom triggers can be remapped to Tab I would be able to switch targets pretty quick.

I hope the keyboard isn't too small though.

sounds like your best bet. a smaller sized wireless keyboard

I had one of those Logitech NetPlay controllers. It is VERY handy. Just beware, as Wint said, of the joysticks. After a couple years of solid gaming, the left stick was stuck in the "up" position most of the time. I was constantly interrupting casting and synths and stuff.

Hmm, you've got an adapter for the PS3 I guess? Because it says there it's for PS1 & PS2. The connector is a giveaway, too.

Edit: whoops! Should've read the whole text. Nevermind.

I use the wireless MS keyboard and mouse that I originally bought for my laptop. USB receiver works fine in my PS3. You need the mouse to be able to resize windows and click on things in certain ways on PS3 anyway (assuming SE doesn't provide some patches), and you don't have to power on the mouse to use the KB. You can use the standard PS3 controller seamlessly and I stick to that mostly.

I have a wireless xbox controller on my pc and have never had issues.. The FFXIV even knows it is a xbox controller.

For the ps3 we just use a wireless usb keyboard.

I have one. It's OK imo. ALTing is a bit too fussy for my taste in a game like this. I plugged in my old PS2 keyboard and am much happier with it.

I was thinking something like

http://www.amazon.com/PS3-Wireless-Keypad-Playstation-3/dp/B001ENPDJA

not sure how amazing it is but it would be cheaper and easier to use than another wireless keyboard.

Amazon = 20 bucks...

***** 50 bucks for it @ retail places.
