I will name a character Seasnake McGillicutty. Just because.

I want to give my lala a cuter or more lore-centric name but I'm struggling to come up with something decent since I kind of want to have Eve or Obelia in there somewhere. I'll probably just stick with my V1 name, Eve Aeterna.
My characters name in FFXI was Yukiba (was young when I first started and was watching inuyasha and wolf rain at the time so put those two together to make Yukiba lol..) so kinda sticking to that name and since it has to be two separate names My character name is now Kiba Yu. My g/f (who has never played an MMO or any FF) loves this game and she made a Miqo'te female and named her Skyy Hollow.
So in short Me: Kiba Yu
GF: Skyy Hollow

Loved Wolf's Rain
I was dead set on changing race and name but now I'm not so sure. My original name is pretty unique (Akua Aumoe) and has meaning (Hawaiian for Goddess of Midnight, and I'm from Hawaii so fits) so now I don't know...
I was really expecting to see a Lalafell named Tyrion Lannister and was more than surprised that I never ran into him.

I started making a list of possible names months and months ago. I've narrowed it down to the perfect one.
First name shorter than last, first name is cool and last name is epic with lore/nerdism.

Bartel Hayward has been my monicker since 1.0, and I'm sticking with it. It's not the most glamorous of names, but it fits for what I wanted. I always knew it would be Bartel, since I've had a Bartel in every mmo I've played, and Hayward just seems to fit that "Olde English" style. It's also a plus that it fits pretty accurately into the naming conventions of hyurs. It's more suited for midlanders, and although I'm a highlander, the RPer in me says that I was actually an orphan born into a midlander family, so the lore still kinda fits. And you know what they say, if the lore fits, you must acquit. Wait, what?

Sticking with what i have as well. Exactly the same character i've had on XI for the last 10 years too, and the first year of 1.0 XIV.
The only thing i'm thinking about is adding a little pointy spanish-swordsman/conquisador beard instead of the smooth shave i've ran around with next to forever now. The character creator is helping a lot. But i just cant decide.

Like a few others, I don't plan on unveiling one of my names, 'cause I know it'll be taken almost immediately (I already fear it'll be taken before I get my...keyboard on it?).
That being said, my original "main" character is going to be a Conjurer (eventual White Mage) named Vione Jenneva. Vione means "Fair", and Jenneva means "Giver of Life". I tried to make it as fitting as possible...

Nah, I usually use Fido Montoya but Fido didn't seem appropriate in this case. But yeah, it is indeed a riff on Inigo from The Princess Bride.
