I'm just curious to see what everybody will be doing this week before beta 4 starts...

I'm personally planning on cleaning and organizing my house, getting any last minute shopping that needs to get done out of the way so I don't need to leave the house so much starting next week...

Anybody have any ideas of things that would be a good idea to do this week?

I need to get a few more chapters done for my story. Once I'm finished writing a few more, I won't feel as guilty about taking the weekend off to play. I'll write some more between phase 4 and early access, and then try to juggle more chapters until the story's finished. Cue waiting around for literary agents to email me back while I play FFXIV.

I'm playing through FFXIII, Dark Souls and Saints Row 2 again as well as reading Cold Days by Jim Butcher finally.

Xenoblade Chronicles. Finishing it? Doubtful. But hey. It's an MMO in itself.

I have something to do on that Saturday night, and my general plan anyway is to take it slow, so it's not like I'm going to shut myself off from the world...

However, I'll have the client downloaded already; I'll talk to my wife about it so she's not TOO upset if I decide to play for longer than normal.

Nothing too crazy I guess.

Reading a book. Going to movies to see Elysium. Watering the plants inside and out for friends who are away. Sitting outside and getting sun. Shopping and cleaning. Making phone calls to family.

Oh, and probably watching old videos of FFXIV from Beta and setting up macro lists beforehand.

Platinum Tales of Xillia and Last of Us.

I just finished the Survivor + mode of the Last of Us so that's what I've been doing lately. I'm trying to figure out what old game to play that I never had time to play much. The Lord of the Ring game I picked up for 19.99 is looking like a winner. Either that or more Skyrim. As for my FF fix, I'm playing the DS version of FF3.

Been grinding my way through the MGS series chronologically, catching up on Peace Walker as I've never had a Vita/PSP.

Kids love watching me clearing levels, holding all the guards up with a Bananna. Almost done with the Monster hunts, some of those tank levels are hell if you're trying for no kills.

The last few days I'll be clearing brush, mowing the lawn, and taking care of any other big things I've been procrastinating on while I can.

oh yes, and reading Larry Correia's "Warbound" Good old detective Noir with a bit of "fun" added. still a while off from another "Monster Hunter International" installment.

I'm working all week 8-)

Must confess though that I keep bringing up the client/downloader to see if I can patch up to Beta 4 yet.

Going stir crazy.

Seriously though, I'll probably be playing a good bit of Civ5 over the next few days.

I have raids in WoW on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Then its gonna be time to tell my WoW friends "goodbye for a while" sadly. (The leader is going to have to find a new officer to fill my spot as well. =\)

So I guess: Civ5, WoW raids, and loads of impatience.

Playing the 360 World of Tanks Beta while the kids online still suck at it "like me". Then back to the endless Civ 5 achievements and finally, making new characters in the ARR benchmark to keep my mind off the game...it's not working.

finally finishing my garage renovation... added storage, built a work bench, and painting the pink (yes pink) walls a dark blue. I ran out of money so can't epoxy the floor like I'd wanted, but whatever... it's progress ^.^

Ah, the week before a new MMO release is a perfect time to re-watch Sword Art Online, an anime that is about an MMORPG release.

Anyone here likes Anime? Only the cool ones? Will you watch an awesome Anime with English subtitles? (Also coming in English, see below.)

Screenshot

This series starts off with a new Virtual Reality MMORPG release in Japan. Shortly after the game launches, the players find out there is no log-out button. If fact, the VR helmet cannot be removed at all and will kill any person who tries to remove it. It also fries your brain if you die in-game. The players are directed to complete the 100 level dungeon to be released from the game.

The main character turns out to be a beta tester who has a bit of inside info on - Ok, stop the bus. If you are interested so far you can go watch it here:

http://swordartonlineepisodes.com/sword-art-online-episode-1/
or here:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/sword-art-online

I would not bother to suggest this if this wasn't an incredibly entertaining series. Even more so for a group of MMO fans (with really good taste, of course) at this moment in time. I really hope at least a few people here give it a shot and enjoy it as much as I did.

Got my new pc and had problems, so sent it back for repairs. Covered under warranty, but it won't make it back for at least 2 weeks. So it's looking like work and Skyrim. I pre-ordered the PS3 version of ARR 2 months ago so I can play on both platforms. So glad that I did. Was VERY excited to see what my new pc could do though. *cry myself to sleep*

Only Wii game I have left is The Last Story, and honestly I don't really play it much. Ni No Kuni is sitting unwrapped though, hard to justify buying yet another game.
