I ask because I got a code for B3 from my brother who got it from someone else and I'm not sure whether I'll get the code or not. Anyone know what will happen?

For PC no. For PS3 if you signed up for the beta for PS3, it sounds like you should.

PS3 Beta testers will receive a code so they can download the client.

PC Beta testers need to A) download the new client from the beta forums and B) use their username/password they used when they created their Square/Enix account.

The issue I have is that I never signed up for any Beta so I don't know whether I'll be getting any code in my email. I got the code from someone else so wouldn't they get the code even though I played in P3? I'm just really confused about the entire situation.

It's likely not guaranteed. I know of a beta 3 code that did not drop a beta 4 code.

:( I kinda figured that would be the case... Oh, well. At least it's only 3 days and not a week...

If your SE account played in the Phase 3 beta, then your SE account knows it. Can you answer these? Then we can probably help clear up when you can get access or download the Client.

Are you on PS3 or PC?
Did you play in Ver 1.0?

I play on PS3 and I didn't play Ver 1.0.

Ok, from what you are saying you do not meet the criteria to access P4 on the on the 16th. You need to go to the beta registration page when it open back up on the 17th and apply for access to P4. Then you should get your Phase 4, 12 digit code PS3 emailed to you.

Here is a recently posted, poorly translated quote:

Cool! Thanks! I would've loved to play today, but as long as I get to play, I'm not complaining!

So I'm at the Beta registration site and there are two options when I choose to apply for the beta:

1) I currently have a SE Account and have not played FFXIV
2) I don't have a SE Account

I obviously have an account and I played the beta, so I'm not sure whether I should select the first option. Any thoughts?
