I got my Marauder to level 20, Armorer, Blacksmith and Miner were added as crafting jobs, and I ran all my dungeons.
Seems I like to take my time.

Sorry to hear that... but at least you had FFXIV... I had a similar experience 2 years ago when DCUO came out on the PS3... I was recovering from surgery for a couple of months and played almost non-stop.
Sounds familiar , 10 years ago I broke my back and got involved with FFXI.

Lots of fun, but sorry for the first couple of GLD dungeon runs. I was with a bunch of ZAM folks, but I hadn't finished GLD15 yet. We made it, but boy was I squishy and didn't have a good weapon or shield lob. Healer got a work out, but we did Sash and Tam all the same!

I can see getting those two jobs to 20 easily, the queue times were probably very quick... or did you go with mainly pre-made groups?
Either way it sure beats 1 hour queue times for a DD for Satasha and Tam-Tara... I didn't even get to do Copperbell mines because the queue was still up for over an hour when I went to sleep last night.
I guess that's what I get for wanting to go DPS this time around :)
Also my fiance was having the glitch where she couldn't progress in the storyline past level 15... so she couldn't even do the first dungeon... if we had queued up together, her as healer, me as DPS, it would have been much faster (for me anyways.)

Had a blast running some dungeons with the Zameleons! I am really enjoying ACN so far (though it is likely to get some sort of nerf). For instance, my first time through Sastasha for the quest, we built a party of all Zameleons, and all were DPS role. We had 2x LNC, a THM, and me as ACN. I played the role of both main healer and main tank (with Topaz Carby). Was a bit hectic and I think there were maybe 2 deaths overall, but was a lot of fun and we didn't have to use DF or wait in queue for a tank/healer.
I also found that having a higher level BTN was really helpful when it came to leveling WVR. I already had stockpiled a good chunk of lightning shards and also loaded up on Moko Grass. Had more than a full stack by the time I started WVR and breezed through the first bit of the crafting log that way.

I got a Gladiator up to level 8 and an Arcanist to level 5. I'm generally slow at leveling, though, since I like to explore a lot and read all of the text in the game. Once Early Access starts, I'll probably level up a bit faster. I like to take my time and have fun, though. 
I also have a level 12 Archer from 1.0, but I want to wait until EA before I work too much on her. With Beta 4, I mainly wanted to try out the Arcanist and the Ul-dah area.

28 hour 3102 put a damper in my crafting plans, but with the extra 8 hours I covered one more job, so in all did pretty well I guess.
20 Marauder, 16 Conjurer, 15 Arcanist, 10 Gladiator, 7 Thaumaturge, and 3 botany
Got all missions done up to before the Ifrit fight. When I found out I couldn't get my chocobo, and that experience stopped at 0 on level 20 I decided to wait till launch to get the experience from those missions.
Overall enjoyed the game. Love the game, and look forward to what else it has to offer now, and later down the line in expansions. No chocobo pretty much kept us around the cities for the most part.

I only played over the weekend itself. I have no idea how so many people got many jobs to lvl 20. I feel for the guy above who wanted his home city by the sea. As T4 beta, this time I started as tum. So I wasn't by the sea but missed the city much. That being said I did get Tum 17 pug 10 cnj 8. Unlocked all jobs and crafts. I did the storyline until the first dungeon. I did the level 15 quest for tum, and that was tough.
Overall I had much more fun on T4 then t3. I did miss playing Mar as well this time. Read a report most people didn't enjoy or play pld and mar tank jobs.
Anyway I look forward to the future.

CNJ pops were instant or a couple minutes tops, GLD even quicker (I swear I'd get a pop before I even hit Join queue in DF :) ). I only ran Sash and TTD once with ZAM folks.

Was planning on going hc mode whole weekend but urge to play dota 2 a bit took me away from FFXIV a bit :D. Waiting for release and early access. Will have plenty of time to max stuff out. Trying not to rush as i dont want to end up just having loads of 50s with nothing to do :)

I'd say my time was almost wasted, though. I leveled thinking I was gonna be playing MNK, only to find out that the 3 others I plan on 4manning with chose 2 DD classes and 1 healer. When EA starts, I have to get busy working on GLD and CNJ so that I can do PLD.
Good thing I logged out in an inn room. I'll have a ton of Leve allowances as well.

I go hit with the 3102 so not to far. My THM is a LVL 6 right now. I have one a JP server around 16 
. But I cant wait til the Early Access though. Hardcore grinding it out!!!!

Oh you're Meat Mithkabob! I remember seeing you walking around when I was out mining. I was like, "That's an awesome name." I've seen a few XI reference names so far.
Not terribly far. I got THM to 13 on Saturday and that was about it, I stopped for the night and yesterday I couldn't log in at all because the server was full all day, lol.
