I got through on the EA site and got my code registered finally so I called my partner up and asked her if she wanted me to take care of hers since the site was up and she didn't have access to the interwebz at the time being... She said yes and when I went back to the site it said this...
"Service Unavailable

The service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
Smiley: lol

Edit: Also the FFXIV that was showing up as registered to my account no longer says PC it says PS3.

I don't know, need to go to the PSN to check.

Edit: Looks like I can't check from the web site so I will have to wait till I get home this afternoon.

Oddly enough, I kept getting the Error 3. I checked my profile on the site and it says the game is registered. Not sure what that means since I have no confirmation email or code or anything else - given the SE issues, I can only imagine they have the email addresses of everyone who pre-ordered - so why they are going through this process rather than just giving out the actual game codes and linking items to SE accounts rather than having the player input several codes they may or may not get is beyond me. Seems like they made a crap ton more work for themselves and broke stuff in the process. Or someone overthought something and thought it would be more logical to do it this way... But when it comes to computer users, the less you have them do on the input side, the better everything turns out.

Feels about similar to waiting in line at the DMV.
