I know double posting is bad. But no one seems to be replying to my other thread so I'll ask a quick question here.
Has anyones service accounts page changed? Mine still just says I have an active FFXIV service account, nothing about items or Early access.
Got myself all worried over here.

what about the level caps removed? Does the phase 4 client understand that when launched?
Folks, you gotta read the threads. We've said several times that the client will be patched between now and early access.

I bought the regular edition just for early access. Got the confirmation email and started trying to enter my code last nite....and I'm still getting Error3.
I keep thinking, we all obsessed for 2 years over the game being rebuilt. Considering the wonder of PlayOnLine, why didn't it occur to anybody to worry about SE's registration process? It's like Tolkien using 300 words to describe a tree, that he could've used 30 on...SE has 35 steps, 14 emails, and 5 hoops for everybody to jump thru...if they're working.

This is so true and just like Tokien, SE makes it interesting with foreign languages and codes that don't work outside the Shire. I'm seriously about to pull my hair out. SE has by far the worst customer service on the planet. I paid $80 for this damn CE and I have no damn clue if I'll get it because nothing they say makes a lick of sense. To make matters worse, you have these idiots that work the help desk that don't help at all. Every reply I get is a bunch of nonsense that never addresses my original complaint. Maybe it will all work out, but this is pushing my buttons and I wish somebody, anybody knew the answer.
If anyone can help me on PS3, please for the love of God, send me a PM. I got the stupid code today and I input it only to get the same client from phase 4 and no registration process. argh....... damn you SE!

got mine finally, never did get my email from square with my digital code...so i put 5 bucks on a gamestop one and the gstop code worked after 5 trys!

I purchased the new collectors edition on ps3
but i intend to play mainly on pc
I entered my code on the website
I got a 12 character code for the ps3 to download the client
downloading it now
But i did not get any 20 character code or anything other than the ps3 download code
Is there a way to check to make sure i'm going to get all the items?

Well crap...I was reading a few posts on the beta forum. When you log into your account on the pre-order page, before you select the language flag, go into your account and check your profile. The language chosen in my account was the British english. I don't know how this happened, I never even saw that profile page after I registered there. Anyway, I switched to the USA english, entered my code and...I'm finally in. Registered and done.

I don't know why the PS3 would be different, especially since the P4 client is the same size as the one they have you download when you get the code. To be safe I've asked some of the SE CR's that I met in San Francisco for clarification, will post here if I hear from them.

Anyone know if the pre-order code is the same code that was used to register the game to your SE account? I've been putting that code in but it keeps giving me error 1 - error 1 is an invalid code, says a friend.
Got no e-mail, but I came back from lunch, refreshed the page, relogged in, re-typed my code and it worked 1st try. I still have no e-mail. It even gave me some instructions on how to download the client from the PS3... That is more info that I got for the beta download.

Just type soem random junk and see if you get an error 1. Then you will know if he is right. Or you could get insanely lucky and actually stumble on a real code...

Speaking of early access codes, would any EU players be interested in mine? I had to import my physical Special Edition because Square is stupid and only sold theirs through their store and it was sold out. So I'm basically sitting on an early access code I can't use (I managed to get one for NA so I'm fine now). If you wanna PM me and ask for it I'll give it out to someone who can use actually use it >.> If for what ever reason I get multiple PMs I'll just have to choose one. Frankly it feels stupid to just hold onto it when it'll never get used because I live in the US, so I thought I'd at least be charitable to someone.

However, I don't know WHICH process the use in the PS3. Does it matter if I go through the store or the account management?
Also, I don't want to lose my progress. I noticed that even though in p3 they said our character would be there, mine wasn't even though I had it in the xmb.
So, does anyone know hot to make sure we don't lose our progress? Ok, I'm paranoid. And I didn't delete the p4 client, I just don't want it over written.

Just go through store. It will take you directly to download. The other should work too but not sure if it will take you to download or not.
