I thought about driving home from work during lunch today, just to try to log in... might actually do that tomorrow. I'd just have to be afk for four or five hours, but I really just want to spend some time playing each night. Last night, the only chance I had to play was from about 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. PST... and that was only because there was a maintenance at 9 p.m., and that caused people to go to bed (and booted the AFKers).
The really sad thing is that SE is pretty much alienating its players throughout the Western United States. By the time we get home from work, we have basically no chance to log in because the worlds are completely full, and there's no more queue.
I'm not sure how this problem is going to be fixed. It's really a shame, though. SE really created an awesome game, but at this rate, many people aren't going to stick around to play it. Yeah, those of us who've been loyal fans of the game since Day 1 will be around, and others may tough it out, too... but this will certainly cost SE many paying customers... probably the very people this game was designed to reach.
