Toughest bosses in Final Fantasy HistoryFollow

In my FF career I would have to cast my vote for Absolute Virture......when AV was first released to wreck havoc upon the world I had never encountered such an impossibly tough boss.

I second Wiegraf. Between him & Gafgarion they made a lot of ppl quit the game when they saved the game after the first part.

I completely forgot Tactics.

That game was loaded with pain in the *** fights.

This was my fist thought!

If your main was not specced for a single player duel, and you had saved recently, you had no choice but to start over!

I don't know if AV counts. . . SE did some serious retarded mechanics with AV.

When excluding XI and XIV. . . probably that boss in FF12, with like 50mil HP or something like that.

I can't say whats toughest in XIV, but in FFXI, for me it's been the Dynamis Lord. Nevermind, it's RDM Maat. I can't forget that long *** second attempt that resulted in back to back asuran fists.

For me, although I screamed at others, Emerald Weapon. AV has to be in there though.

Yunalesca was a huge pain in the *** if you didn't have deathward/proof gear, and not too bad at all if you did. Without deathproof gear, there was a solid chance you could lose despite any strategy you might take. Without deathward gear, there was a VERY solid chance.

Seymour Flux I don't remember being SO bad. I remember wiping a few times, but nothing super terrible.

And, of course, it also depends on whether or not you were in the habit of having your aeon's overdrives at full all the time.
