Updated my games with the code, so now my account has two active (the old one is the EA). Log in on the PS3 and get the same message, like there's no game registered with my account.
Tried the PC. Logged into my wifes account, updated her profile with the new serial code. Now she has two games, EA and the copy we just bought. Tried to log her in on the launcher and it wants me to plug in a new registration code that doesn't even match the format of the one in the box.....brick wall.
Good thing I have four days off to figure this out.

It might take all 4 days. My first suggestion, call or open a chat with SE immediately.
You didn't 'update' the pre-order, you created a new service account. This will require SE to fix.
