The Kraken Club <ZAM> FC Meeting: UPDATE, 9pm ESTFollow

We will be meeting at 7pm to go over some fundamental and important aspects of the company. This includes:

-Leadership
-FC Structure/Heirarchy/Permissions
-Voice Chat
-FC Forums
-Ideas and Suggestions
-Anything else anyone thinks is important

Please post here if you have further topics you'd like to discuss, or if you have any questions. If you can't make this meeting time, we will have someone take some brief notes to give an overview of what went on.

I won't be there... will be out of town because of the holiday.

Bartel, because of the login issues and the holiday, could we possibly move this back maybe a week? Or, if we do it this weekend, is there some kind of chat client we could use that is not in the game (I still won't be there... I'll either be eating or in the midst of a four-hour drive at that time) but might help to include more people)?

If we do it in game, I'd strongly recommend waiting just one more week.

Sounds good, a voice chat will really start getting things more cohesive and serve to get people to know each over a bit. The chat just flies by after all.

I know we are still in leveling mode but we might want to start seeing what days may be good for people to do organized runs, not raids yet of course, but at least see what days may be available for most people for later.

I know it seems simple, but a little charter and FAQ for things like bank access and such is always a nice start to get everyone on the same page before anything becomes an issue.

This would be awesome! Maybe even take a group screen shot of said meeting, because after all, 'pic or it didn't happen.'

We always used to do this in my FFXI linkshell during big meetings. People would always walk by and gawk at us.

Please keep in mind that some of us do not have smartphones with internet access and might play on a PS3 not next to a computer. I simply can not voice chat.

Also, the login issues would make it nearly impossible for everyone to make the meeting. Perhaps we could have our first meeting in our very own Free Company House?

Baraiza and I won't be there due to being out of town for Dragoncon this weekend.

Unfortunately, it has already become apparent that the issues I mentioned above need to be discussed. We are a nearly 200 member FC already and we really need to have some direction. There are specific reasons for this meeting, but I won't get into them. Let's just say adding some kind of order at this point is very important.

I'm very sorry to all who won't be able to attend due to login issues. We will have another meeting as soon as they get their server issues fixed. Also, this meeting isn't going to permanently put anything into place set in stone. Like, we aren't going to vote on actual officers or anything. It's just to get some details worked out and get things organized a bit, which really is necessary already. Also, we'll post everything up here that goes on so that you can see what goes down and voice your input or concerns here as well.

I also play Ps3 but keep my Mac next to me so I can time. I know a Mac right well its the only program that can run Final Cut Pro on it. Just trying to help you out.



I will be there no questions asked from me. It just seems that everyone wants to be there but can't do it on the game. Maybe we can find a way to accommodate everyone with this meeting?
