As other people have said all MMO's have had difficulties at launch - even the great god WoW!
I'm of course irritated when I can't log into the game. but being in the UK I at least have the chance of logging in on a morning
when most of NA is asleep.
I tend to stay on most of the day - until I get 90000 or w/e - if that happens during NA time then I can usually kiss goodbye
to logging in again.
So I go do other things - like go to family weddings, meet up with people - see the sun etc etc

the difference between SE and Blizzard is blizzard doesn't wait a week and a half to fix their sh*t

You're right, they waited longer.

Again learn from there mistakes don't make the same one.. That is a **** poor excuse. Because they cant learn from others mistakes means they are dumber...

Longer the problem is not even close to be fixed yet..

You're not wrong in feeling that way. I definitely feel the same as you in that regard. I'm hopeful that once they're fixed that'll be the end of that. Maybe it, maybe it won't. It doesn't make it excusable, but I'm not going to condemn the developers to death by throat sock for it. It happens, it's beyond our control.

Of course Square Enix is the bad guy. They're in charge of their own servers. I don't understand how some people think.

There is too many people staying logged in, but that doesn't make it the players' fault. It's Square Enix's fault for miscalculating how many players they needed to accommodate.

In a world shattering first - I completely agree with Kahlua.

I was willing to give SE a few days to sort themselves out and fix these problems but the 1017 issues are getting worse, and worse, I have barely been able to log in for the last two or three days. How many players that might have been long term subscribers have left. I understand the issues involved - but not having even a rudimentary queuing system is a complete fail.

Unfortunately being one of the busier weekends is exasperating the problem, it would seem. The lobby server is obviously being inundated with login requests and is getting fried. It's no surprise that 1017 is flaring up worse now than ever -- Everyone is home, everyone wants to play, and it's a 3 day weekend.

I look forward to Wednesday. I'm not expecting a Jesus-save or anything, but just maybe logging in will be a little more reliable.

I am not able log in either and of course I am a little upset about it considering I can play no more then 1-2 hours during the week but complaining isn't going to fix the problem and I along with many others are sick of seeing these threads over and over. SE has already admitted the problem given a timeline to fix it.

You KNOW complaining isn't going to fix the problem, but yet you sit here and complain about people who DO have the right to complain about a game THEY have purchased! What gives you the right to say they can't! Because you're sick and tired of the same threads? That's not good enough.

I wasn't complaining, I was just answering his question and if you really are upset you should be letting SE know, not posting on a forum unrelated to them.

I don't mind threads by people who can complain in an intelligent way, but the "OMG SE SUCKS" threads are a waste of space.
