AMD actually sent me an email about it yesterday. A perk of actually registering the product (besides getting my one year warranty.)

I would...if my brand new PC would stop dying! Smiley: cry

Also, any tips for PS3 players? Y'know, besides "get a PC"? lol

Got to ask this, what exactly is happening with your rig?

Power supply died, got a new one, then discovered old power supply dying took the motherboard with it as well, so now getting a new one of those too. My $1,500 pride 'n joy is now costing me over $1,900 in repairs and shipping... Smiley: glare

You handling the repairs yourself or sending it out? Installing a motherboard isn't too hard with usually the biggest issue requiring a reinstall of the OS.

A good PSU and above average MoBo shouldn't cost more than $500... you using it as an excuse to build a new high end rig?

I originally built it myself, but after the power supply died, someone else is workin' on it for me.

Also, sorry for the off-topic discussion. Um...MAINTENANCE!! Smiley: boozing

Ran the benchmark before and after. Both times, 1920x1080, maximum settings, borderless windowed.

Score using catalyst 13.3: 6734
Score using catalyst 13.9: 6734

Seriously.

I didn't see anything in the notes about XIV other than 3D performance noted as "not recommended".
#15 Sep 19 2013 at 8:10 PM Rating: Decent
confusing... latest official is 13.9 while beta is 13.10 and older date

Is there a CFX profile for XIV in the news drivers? I uninstalled beta 13.10 as the performance was worse than the adhoc CFX profile I have forced in game just now.

Thats why I always stick with the default, except for that one time back when I had the 8800GTX, that updating was needed to run Oblivion.
