When you're starting out, just grab some quests, and make sure to follow the main story line quests. Also, grab your class quests along the way (every 5 levels). Hop into fates if you're near one (if it's worth the time and effort, some just take too long to finish). At level 15 you'll unlock the first dungeon which will net you some good exp too. Leves can get you SOME exp, but aren't really worth it compared to leveling crafting classes through them.

Essentially, dabble in a bit of everything (mostly quests) and you'll level up pretty quickly.

edit: Also forgot, your hunt log is another way of getting good chunks.

Crafting is entirely optional. It can get you some gil later on, but it generally involves a whole lot of time/gil to get it to that point. Most serious crafters level up all the classes/gathering classes. I dabbled in it some, but never got too far with it.

I didn't watch Chesder's vids, but if they were good they should probably be sticky'd?

Thayos you slacker, get to work! You robbed me of my chance to raise my nose and say "read the damn sticky" Smiley: lol

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.
