The Rio thing has potential disaster written all over it. The slums ring that city on the high ground. Gives the criminals a nice boost when they start running downhill to all those wealthy Olympic tourists. Add to that the police just went on strike, so that's looming.

Zika? Check.
Crime? Check.
Biohazardous waste? Check.
Venues with poorly constructed buildings? Check.
Sky-high AIDS infection rates? Check.
Political unrest in the host country? Check.

To offset these concerns we have Miss Bumbum. In fact, the city's beaches are filled with Miss Bumbums, so there's that. Bread and circuses, man, bread and circuses.

Your use of the words Miss Bumbum and your inflated idea of the effect of a thong bikini says a lot about you and your sense of mores.

What are we talking about here?
I'm not quite sure either, but from what I've gathered:

1) A long time ago people in Turkey (or some other similar place with lots of sand) killed other people.

2) This was bad.

3) They need to be told this was bad.

4) We may or may not need to send them to timeout for 5 minutes.

Edited, Jun 28th 2016 10:34am by someproteinguy

Um, no, moron.

It's

1) Presidential candidate Barack Obama prior to being elected President made a promise to call the Armenian Genocide a "Genocide"
2) President Barack Obama, in his eighth year, still hasn't done this, and so never will. Broken promise. Significant even, to some who you are not.
3) And not that you care, but Turkey is currently also active in genociding Kurds. An acknowledgement of their past practices by a US President might help/have-helped quell this.

"from what I've gathered".

I imagine you gather a lot of inanity if you can't even figure this shit out, enough to the point of even putting 1/2/3/4 cheeky/inane bullet points about your overwhelming confusion and ridiculous post.

Grats for not being a surviving Jew or Kurd or Armenian of Genocide, so this is all academic to your sorry lousy-posting ***.

No, I'm not. Lied about it before though just to get a rhetorical angle at some dumb poster. Also, I'm mostly drunk. Mostly.

But also of course it's terrible that anyone could defend Obama for promising to call this a Genocide, then never do it. Excuse-wagons. Just call it a Genocide already. My drunken lies should not be relevant.

He promised to do lots of other things he didn't either. You see he's known in these parts as a 'politician'. It's usually better for your health if you keep your expectations low for those types.

Why spend time grumbling about the people that killed your ancestors? It's a waste of time. You could be clipping coupons or something useful like that. Just think of all the money you'll save when you take advantage of $5 Friday.

Well on the bright side, it was an excuse to +1 a little, so all is not lost.

I'll drink to that. Here's to people still young and naive enough to believe in honesty in politics. Truly is there no more oxymoronic phrase in any known language.

And I'd equally be amazed if you ever took a stand on anything, ever. 50,000 posts and still just green, that must rattle your balls, since it means you just post a lot but aren't all that good at words and arguing your own stances and such. Just some kind of random get-along. Hey, you brought +1 whatever up. You suck at it, even after 50,000. I can't imagine how painfully boring it would be to make 50,000 ingratiating and noncommital and wannabe posts on here yet not really contribute anything of value. lol gaxe. Indeed.

Nothing whether serious or satire indicated SPG had any problem with Obama not calling the Armenian Genocide a Genocide. And sorry, I'm not going to parse the psychology of posters/research them, if they post dumb **** when they instead could post something obvious like "yeah, Obama failed to call this a Genocide and this is bad and this is a bad mark upon his tenure." How hard is it to just point out the obvious? Christ you people in this thread [maybe not you though]. Obama sucks on this. How hard is that to admit plainly, without some kind of song and dance?

That's neither here nor there towards stuff like "Turkey isn't actually a desert!"

You're right though; no one here really gives any shits about this besides you.

You don't know my karma. My karma is beautiful. You've never seen karma numbers like my karma. People love me. People love me and give me karma and that karma is just amazing. It's really amazing karma, people. Believe me, you'd know it if you saw it.

I can't tell you my exact karma number due to an impending karma audit.

Yes it's beautiful, it's amazing and all that. I'm sure it's very nice. It's just, you know... a little small.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.
