Bleach - One eyed, talking and one other thing'd Aizen is more powerful than the right arm of God apparently. He's so about to get curb stomped.

One Piece - I think Law has died like half a dozen times in this story arc.

Black Vortex - DEAR GOD WHAT THE HELL?! Pretty sure that was the last issue of Cyclops' book, but oh God I want to spoon my eyes out.

Inversion - Huh, I had forgotten about the phased planet. Well played. Kind of stupid, but well played. Also Tony: God of Multitasking.

Guardians Team-Up & Wolverines - I'm always glad whenever they bring up She-Hulk. Not so much when they make her fight and more when she's a lawyer as the funny books could use more of that, but regardless. First she punches Gamora, then Wolverpool. Not a particular fan of either book, but sometimes you just have to hold your breath and deal with it. Wolverines was especially amusing, but never going on my pull list.

One Piece: Goku Luffy is going Super Saiyan 4. I do find myself most intrigued. He's already mixed his Second and Third Gears together, along with Armament Haki, so I'm not entirely sure where it can go from there. Other than more faster and more strongerer and more biggerer.

Bleach: Bad guys turning neutral for revenge. I don't think there's anyone reading this that didn't see it coming, but at least that plot point is here so we can move on to when Yahweh drains them further to also go Super Saiyan 4 so Ichigo can go Super Saiyan 5. Why they're taking them and not Aizen's chair is beyond me. It would be infinitely more useful.

Always good to see Kurotsuchi acting like the smartest guy in the room.

Of all the new Marvel Star Wars books, I'm enjoying Darth Vader's. Evil C3P0 is a riot.

Deadpool: Well, if you're going to kill a character, that may be the very best way to have done it. Better than Sniktbub.

Inversion: Hyperion is the kind of teacher that would get arrested, Robbie has AIM, and Morales sees the big planet in the sky. Just looking at the list of Secret Wars side books, I'll be picking up Ghost Racers and Renew Your Vows. Masters of Kung Fu and Runaways I'll check out. Not sure about the rest. list

Bill & Ted's Most Triumphant Return: It is, indeed, a most triumphant return. Picks up immediately after the last movie.

Toriko: I'm surprised ***** Demon wasn't in this issue in the background.

Fairy Tail Zero: Apparently Zeref is responsible for most of Fairy Tail's super spells as well. Smiley: rolleyes We'll probably find out later that Mavis it actually the other half of Zeref's soul or something like that.

Toriko: If you poke the hole on a monkey's pair and drink the liquid inside you turn into a woman and can see the dead.

Fairy Tail Zero: Mavis is still cute.

Fairy Tail Regular: Who had undercover? My ego says that it still falls under the purview of manipulation. Opening arc jobber squash commencing. Kind of disappointed at the lack of sugary confections with Erza. Or .. I guess that Jellal is just a name drop.

Seven Deadly Nanatsus: "You were only meant to think I was a villain!" It's like a reverse Aizen.

Looks like the Naruto spinoff kicks up "Thursday." Quotations due to pending translation work thereafter. Because, I'm sure we've all been looking forward for that ride to reopening.

Bleach: Oh it's so zany, that well placed comedy!

One Piece: Then an accidental overdose of haki interacts with his unique devil fruit body chemistry. And now, when Monkey D. Luffy grows angry or outraged, a startling metamorphosis occurs ...

New Naruto: Sakura is still an idiot.

- more later -

Guess there's really no way to avoid it, is there? -

Did Xavier make Bobby straight, Jean make him gay, or was it one of the "changes" from using the Black Vortex and giving up the gift? You know you messed up when sites like themarysue are aghast by a coming out storyline. And watching clickbait sites desperately rereading old volumes trying to justify it, well, that's just the cherry on top. I think Axel Alonso said it best when he said “This is a character with decades of history, and one who we’ve seen falter on the romantic stage — more than once. So the seeds were always there." So there you have it, Reed and Sue Richards are the only straight characters in comic books.

Hulk - Where does the facial hair go when they change? Hulk's disappears when he Banners, and Ross's disappears when he Rulks. I wonder how that affects the She-Hulks.

Bleach: Well, I kinda liked this chapter. The majestic return of Kon, random Grimmjow, nice banter between Aizen and Kyouraku. Fun stuff.

The power of love supersedes the power of the flu.

I expect the "leader" to suffer a similar jobber squash as everyone else, followed by Gray and Gajeel fighting for two or so pages which ultimately leads to a Fairy Tail Pow-Wow discussing how to get the background characters back. Lucy beat up the Brown Mage, which is nice. I prefer my female characters to be more Nami than Sakura.

Consider this a place holder for the other used-to-be Wednesday books, and possibly the more western offerings.

Bleach: I'm okay with Nel showing up. I'd be more okay if it were child Nel. This book really loves bringing bad guys back as allies, doesn't it?

Naruto: Branching family tree, like the Hyugas. Or like the last Shaman King book that died before it got anywhere.

One Piece: "Oh, you reached Super Saiyan 4? Here's 5."

Fairy Tail: Okay, Braiya was kind of cute. Also Lucy and Wendy defeat the Brown Mage.

Secret War 1: Erryone ded.

Attack on Titan: Levi and Mikasa are officially related, and the entire Ackerman family are killing specialists. Good to know when it's time to euthanize the rest of humanity.
Toriko: Looks like Galactus may be showing up soon.

Secret War: Correction, almost everyone died.

Bleach: Nel & the rest of the Arancar's (I think thats what they were?) showing up was nice. Its nice when stuff happens in Bleach. Too bad it was ruined by pages of explanation about how they're going to travel.

Nel, Grimjow, and the two surviving FullBringers. Surprised they didn't revive some of the Bounts.

Truth be told I was kind of hoping Erza to summon her own War God.

It was a breakup so devastating that she even got his superpowers. Seven issues and it hasn't been revealed yet. Scanbro just posted the last page, so we'll find out Wednesday. Maybe.
