Hello all this is just a simply question i know players that were playing he "original" FFXIV are supose to get their character transfer by a method forgot name , but what if i didnt use that method.. will i still have my character change to the new system ?
Sorry if this seem a little Vague but could anyone help me in here?

I believe once you get into beta or join open beta aslong as ur account is "active" (mine was canceled and you can jsut hit activate and on the account page no money needed) they will transfer all toons over to there respective servers. I could be wrong but thats how i understood it.
All 1.0 characters will move to 2.0. You will be limited to the server you can be on though, they are referred to as Legacy servers. If you want to get on a brand new server where everyone is level 1, you will need to make a new character.
