Phoneme - I dont understand the Wikipedia entry. Please help! I have never spent much time with linguistics.

Do you mean phoneme? It's just a speech sound, the sound equivalent of a letter of the alphabet. If you do indeed mean phenome, I have no idea what that has to do with linguistics, sorry.

Since I'm determined to change my character to a Roegadyn female, and there's been a possibility mentioned that we can have a name change along with that, I played with the naming convention and the dictionary.

The challenge: An accurate, meaningful female Roegadyn Sea Wolf name that isn't a pain in the *** for others to spell.

What I came up with: Ornlona Wistuwyn - "Maple Gatherer, daughter of Western Dew." I think it has a certain musical quality to it.

Wint, your name means "Winter" according to the dictionary.

My eternal problem when playing MMOs, to find the name i usually use in the net.... Teras don't know if it means anything though. I mean besides my country.
