if i go to a brand new server with a new character do i get my legacy chocobo?
1. I don't think legacy players can take their existing characters to servers for new players (however, new players can start on legacy servers).
2. By legacy chocobo, are you referring to the Gobbou mount?

Legacy players were supposed to be getting a unique chocobo along with the $10/month fee and their name in the credits.

Legacy should be linked to your account, so it should apply to all the characters you make. Collectables from 1.0, no.
No, legacy chocobo is just as the name implies, it's a special chocobo for legacy players. It's even shown in the trailer. The one with markings on it's beak.

for some reason i thought you would only get the choco if you rolled your old character..puzzlement
No, I imagine they will handle it like they do the special items (gauntlets, onion helm, etc) where when you create a new char those will be in your inventory automatically. When 1.0 was still up I had made a new char and it had all of the items I had registered codes for.

Like he said, all the account bonus data will be there. Onion Helm, Hermies' shoes, Gloves, etc., all "code activated" data will be there. I would assume that the Legacy Bonuses will be the same, except SE is writing in the code for you. Now, the Gobbou, that will not carry over because its an in game "prize," if you will.
